A rather boring status period.

Gosh, the heat wave. Our air conditioning system must have been manufactured around the turn of the century for all of the problems it’s been giving us. (The turn of the 20th century, not the 21st…) It’s hard to think sexy thoughts when you’re soaked in sweat. From just sitting in a hot office, not for any other reason… 😊 Our little Home Depot-special room air conditioner is taking the brunt of the extra heat, but the electric bill is probably going to be intense.

As we finish up the summer, we’ve had more vacations and time off out of the pit, but the rest of us keep slugging along.

Since our last update, we finished the one scene we were working on, and two more to boot. So, we’re officially halfway through the chapter. Unfortunately, it was the easy half of the chapter. This chapter is turning out to be a doozy, but we can’t really say why without—repeat after me: “giving away the story.” Your patience will be rewarded.

We’ll release our next set of 4K renders to our upper tier supporters next week, featuring a controversial subject: Elliott! Making these was kinda fun, gotta say. Think of her like a character actress. She may play a bitchy antagonist in our story, but it doesn’t mean that she’s actually that way in real life. Er, virtual real life. Um…
