I’ve still got a bit of work to do on the Steam version of Confusion. So far, in the past two weeks I’ve finished a scene extension including 10 new animations, completely re-rendered 3 scenes (including 3 new animations), and am working to finish a completely new scene involving Sam and, um, others. As before, almost everything I’ve done in the last two weeks is most decidedly NSFW, so there aren’t any renders to show publicly.

If you read my Forgotten chat over on Patreon or if you’ve been following on my Discord, you’ll know that I’ve decided to take on another title in addition to University Trans-fer strictly for income reasons. It’ll be called Forgotten, a story about a young man abandoned at a young age, and his efforts to find his real family after years of orphanages and foster homes. It’s pretty much a modern-day Great Expectations (except that it it differs from Charles Dickens’ version by featuring lots of, um, sex…)

Unlike Confusion and University Trans-fer, this story won’t be trans-focused, although there is a plan for a skippable trans love interest if desired. I’ve written the first pass at an outline for the story, and started the arduous task of creating characters’ back stories, locations, sub-plots, and planning for game interactivity. I definitely heard from some of you that you wish that Confusion had ended with more options. But as I’ve explained in the past, Confusion was originally a short story, and then a kinetic novel that interactivity was later layered on top of, instead of having been planned that way from the start. Both new titles are planned to have multiple endings.

You can’t imagine how incredibly excited I am about being able to delve again into the actual storytelling process, after a couple of years of “filling in the blanks” to get Confusion out the door. You have no idea how hard it was to bite my tongue while everyone was trying to reckon the plot (and ending) during the couple of years of development. Whew!

On the personal front, for those who’ve asked, I’m still going to intensive therapy three times a week, for at least another month at which time I should be reverting to a once-a-month schedule. Or at least, that’s what the therapist tells me. It’s put a serious damper on the amount of time that I can spend working, but each therapy session gets a bit easier and takes less time to recover from.
