We reached the “halfway” point of chapter 6 this past weekend. The word “halfway” is in quotes because the first half was the easy half. The second half is, well, full of a lot of timesinks. The current scene is a low-light scene (notoriously difficult to render well) and has taken this whole week, and we’re not even halfway through it yet. Two of the other scenes feature new locations and some tricky poses which all take a lot of time to set up. We’ve not committed to a release date for chapter 6, but have informally been aiming for July. We’ll try to complete it earlier if at all possible, but we wanted to be as transparent as possible regarding the remaining work.

Chapter 6 is yet another turning point in the story, and be warned: some more tough times are ahead for our hero, Alex. BUT, (and this is why it’s a major update to the story), Alex’s trajectory will start on an upward path in chapter 7. Again, to be transparent as possible, the story will veer into more lewd territory as well as Alex makes some major decisions about her sexuality.

We still haven’t gotten around to the server upgrade, but this time it isn’t our fault. We determined that some more parts were needed, and of course, they’re back-ordered. Rather than tear the server down and make some partial fixes, only to have to do it all over again when the new parts come in, we decided to wait. Soon.
