Another fortnight; another scene. Scene 9 is in the can and scene 10 is underway. Scene 9 was, by far, the longest in the entire story so far. As alluded to in a previous update, the further along the story goes, the more branches and conditional paths open up and have to be covered.

The render server upgrade hit a couple of snags and backed us up for a few days. There were two animations cued up, as well as a sizeable number of images as we’ve been working in the meantime to finish out the chapter. That queue just finished this morning, and so we’re all caught back up.

So. We’re still at least two weeks out in terms of renders, maybe three depending on the aforementioned server glitches. We’re still steadfastly sticking to a “February release,” although at this point, that might end up being “February 31st.” :-)
