Short and sweet. Venimus, vidimus, vicimus. After a fashion.

We didn’t vicimus as much as we would have liked. Since our last status, we’ve completed a scene and a half. Most of the time it takes to set up a scene revolves around preparing the environment, lighting, and props. Once those things are set up, individual frames are relatively quick to set up and render. In many cases, we can reuse existing environments and props which can substantially cut down on setup time.

This chapter, unfortunately, features a lot of new locations and props, so we’re moving a bit slower than usual.

On the news front, we released 4K renders of Elliott to upper-tier supporters last weekend. Wow. We got more comments about these renders than the rest of our 4K renders combined. Elliott: the gal you evidently love to hate. October’s subject will be Suzie!
